I'm still young...or so I thought

but then today, while teaching the Primary kids, I...

1. used WITE-OUT to represent repentance,

2. played a cassette tape (which the kids thought was a video tape),

3. and told the kids that when they sing for the Christmas party next Saturday they are going to make their parents cry (out of joy).

all good things I must say. Laughed hard at the cassette tape confused for a video tape. and I thought of Mrs. Freestone when you said the parents will "cry", though I can't remember which song she always said that would happen with... do you? love the post.

Jo, thanks for the comment. I know, can you believe they thought it was a video tape? The song we sang that supposedly "made our parents cry" was "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Remember? It was always the last song. Go cub chorus!

Cub chorus was the kids chorus we were in as elementary school kids. It was a great time and gave us lots of good memories.
