Isn't it interesting...

...when you find that your spouse's tie is still on the kitchen counter from Sunday evening. You think to yourself, "Gee, that's still there. He needs to put it away." Then you notice that your muddy shoes from Sunday afternoon are still by the door and need to be put away too. So you grab the tie and the shoes and put them both away. And think to yourself, "Glad I didn't say anything about the tie."

I can't tell you how many times this happens to me.

Lol. At least you didn't say anything. I'm pretty sure I'd have said something about the tie and then Adam would have ended up putting my shoes away too leaving me feeling like a jerk (which would be deserved...).

Wow, I didn't even realize my tie was still on the counter until this post. Oops. But, I also didn't notice your muddy shoes, so you totally would have been in the clear if you would have scolded me for the tie. Ahh, missed opportunities. I guess life is made up of those.

This happens to me quite often as well. Only, I'm really impressed with your ability to find the muddy shoes before you mention the tie. I'm usually half way through, "hey, can you put away your..." when I spot the thing I've left out of place.
