Everything was covered, which was quite the difference from the 60 degree weather we’d experienced the previous two days. Turns out 14 inches of snow fell. School was cancelled.
The boys were elated! “And on my birthday!” exclaimed Ansel with arms in the air. We celebrated and stayed cozy throughout the day.
This boy is smart, talented, clever, and our family excitement guru. Currently, he is into basketball, collecting state quarters, getting a high score on his math game at school, and giving my belly kisses. He’s high on energy and feels life to the core. He’s one top-notch seven year old.
